Over 200 hours of live coverage

The studio show is jointly commissioned by Mediacorp, Singtel and Starhub and produced by Mediacorp studios. Moreover, the show will be presented in three segments: pre-match, at half-time and post-match. In the pre-match and half-time segments, the show will dive into topics such as player profiles, team line-ups, match strategies and tactics. All in, the show will deliver more than 200 hours of FIFA World Cup related content.

Insights and analyses from football personalities

Presenting the show will be Richard Lenton and Steve Lai. Significantly, they will be aided by experienced pundits. These pundits are Liverpool and Welsh legend Ian Rush; Former England international Darren Anderton; local legend R.Sasikumar and former professional players including Paul Masefield and PJ Roberts.

Augmented reality on the show

Augmented reality (AR) technology will be used to bring a fresh viewing experience, and enhance on-screen graphics. With the addition of 3D elements, empty studio spaces will come alive on the screens of viewers with team formations and player profiles. This will be the first time Mediacorp is utilising AR for sports coverage.  Match Day will be broadcast live from Studio 4 at Mediacorp Campus.
