As per Marca, 2010 World Cup winning manager with Spain, Vincente del Bosque has revealed that he would have loved to have coached the Argentinian ace if he had chosen to represent Spain.

Vicente del Bosque, who famously led a Spain side comprised of Barcelona legends like Xavi, Iniesta, Puyol, Pique and Busquets to their maiden World Cup triumph, remarked in a recent interview that he would have loved to have coached Messi in the La Furia Roja colors.
The former Real Madrid boss also said it would have been a dream come true if he had gotten the opportunity to guide the Barcelona captain
